Making the dark side simpler, clearer and faster

The conventional wisdom says the Galactic Empire fell at the hands of the Rebel Alliance, but that was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. As a matter of fact, the Empire’s real undoing was a catastrophic lack of digital strategy.

On the surface, the First Order look a lot like their imperialist forebears. But as digital natives it’s a safe bet they know their Scrum from their Kanban, have no trouble putting user needs first, and have a killer website.

Sadly the First Order website doesn’t make an appearance in The Force Awakens. But since they seem to be taking a lean startup approach, forking an organisation page from GOV.UK rather than starting from scratch would be a no-brainer.

And what might this particularly badass fusion of the dark side of the Force with the British civil service look like, you ask? Let’s take a look…
